I met a dog named Rhubarb. She was just 1 year old and had lovely caramel and butterscotch fur. She didn’t beg, but definitely was sniffing around the garden seeing if anyone at the garden party dropped a crumb. She stashed sticks around the yard and would bring them out one at a time and chew them into bark mulch. It’s like there was a stick store in the back corner of the yard. When she wasn’t sniffing or mulching sticks, she was walking around our circle of chairs to get her required loves and, of course, to give kisses.
Dogs are the best.
